The Bernard Palissy’s museum presents an exhibition about a technique, "la sigillée". You can come and see archeological artworks and contemporary ceramics made with this technique.

From May 14 to October 1, 2023, the Bernard Palissy museum presents an exhibition on sigilated lands. A first part is devoted to the history of this technique with archaeological pieces and explanatory panels, then we discover works belonging to the museum collection - including pieces by Pierre Bayle - and finally a final part presents the work of seven current ceramists who excel in this technique.
Thanks to Philippe Buraud, Mathieu Casseau, Dalloun, Maxime Defer, Allan Desquins, Lauriane Firoben and Loïc Gaignard this ancestral technique continues to shine in today’s ceramics.
